Originally from the UK, I moved to France at the age of seven where I completed my primary and secondary education. Growing up in both British and French cultures gave me not only a strong command of both languages, but also an appreciation of the cultural differences that shape the way people communicate.
Later in life, I relocated to the United States, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in French Studies with a minor in Linguistics. After graduating, I completed professional interpreter training and certification before beginning my career as a professional English-French interpreter.
I have interpreted in a wide variety of settings, including medical appointments, administrative services, immigration, insurance, banking, and community services. I have also had the opportunity to work with people from many different English and French speaking backgrounds, giving me valuable experience communication across a wide range of regional accents, dialects, and cultural perspectives.
I believe that successful interpreting is much more than translating words. It requires careful listening, cultural awareness, impartiality, and the ability to help people communicate clearly and confidently, particularly during important and stressful situations.
Having recently relocated to France, I now enjoy helping clients overcome language barriers and navigate everyday life with greater confidence. My goal is to ensure that every conversation is accurate, respectful, and understood by everyone involved.

Board-Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) with over four years of professional English—French interpreting experience across medical, administrative, insurance, community and business settings.
Education: B.A in French Studies with a Minor in Linguistics, magna cum laude, Florida Atlantic University.
Certifications: National Board Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI); ALTA Language Services Qualified Interpreter; TESOL-certified.
